Before the update, we required players to earn a certain Dragon Collector Score to unlock access to new Dragon Elements and their masteries. This meant it was necessary to collect new dragons, level up existing dragons or increase their power through Sigils or Enchantments. However, we found that this method was more confusing for new players than our previous method, which simply unlocked new Elements and their masteries when reaching specific Player Levels. To keep things simple for everyone, we've returned to the previous method of unlocking Elements and masteries.
This means that lower-level players will now be able to access new Elements -- such as Shadow, Light and Legendary Elements -- by playing the game as they normally would: collecting XP and increasing their Player Level. You can find your current Player Level in the top left corner of the screen when you are in the home screen (with the islands and your dragons!)
