Enter the Controls menu from the Game Settings, select the Joy-Con™ and choose Manual Drive.
Press the A or ZR Buttons to accelerate the car.
Use the Left Stick or press the Left/Right Buttons to steer the car, and press the B or ZL Buttons to brake.
Press the X button to activate a Nitro Speed Boost and, when the Nitro bar is full, double-press it to activate a Shockwave.
To perform a 360, double-press the B or ZL buttons.
