In Multiplayer, matchmaking is handled based on the players' Ratings. This means that you will race against players that are around you on the Leaderboard. So, players can choose whatever car they want from among the cars that are available for the Series in progress. However, it is sometimes possible to see a greater variety of cars and ratings depending on current player availability.
