We gave 40 Shards to all players when the game was launched. We do not recommend that players use these to unlock Realms/Biomes by converting them to Dreamlight. Ideally, you should save your Dream Shards to complete Quests and use Dreamlight earned through daily objectives to unlock Realms/Biomes.
     o    We recommend that you put your Dream Shards in the chest in your House for safekeeping!
     o    We will also be looking into adjusting the spawn rates of Dream Shards based on community feedback, so stay tuned!
     o    In the interim, we highly recommend feeding animals to collect more Dream Shards as well!
