In order to access Disney Dreamlight Valley: A Rift in Time expansion content in-game, you must first unlock the Dream Castle, Scrooge McDuck's Store, and each of the Royal Tools at the beginning of the core game.

Once this has been completed, you will then need to seek out a sign of Jafar's meddling in Dreamlight Valley to progress further.
