If the fishing ripple for Cinderella’s pencil in the Glade of Trust during the “Critter Chaos” quest appears too far away to reach, there are a couple of workarounds you can try to make it move closer:

• Change the scene (reload the game, enter/exit a house, or fast travel between villages/wells) so the fishing spot respawns in a different position.
• Place a water item (such as a decorative water object) on top of the fishing spot so it relocates.

After doing this, the ripple should reappear in a reachable position, allowing you to fish and collect Cinderella’s pencil.
