Please try these steps, they usually help to resolve most connectivity problems:
- Make sure your Wi-Fi network is stable and password-protected.
- Close any background apps.
- Power off your device for a couple of minutes.
If the steps above don't help, then if you have connected your profile to a social network then you can uninstall and reinstall the game completely. When reloading, you can sign into your social network again to easily recover your account.
