In order to solve the issue, please try to sign out of your Apple Account and then sign back in. 

You can do this from the System Settings. After you sign out you'll have to sign back in.

After successfully signing in, you can try to open the game, it will prompt to do the Apple sign in again in game. The issue should be fixed after that.
