Every time you upgrade a Racer now, they are gettin a Star Fragment which equals to 2 Levels in the old system. Upgrades are now more impactful, and the whole progression is balanced better, so that with higher Stars it requires fewer shards than reaching Level 40 and Level 50 in the previous system.
